Crosscut Saws, Wilderness, and our Public Lands

Ep. 10:

This week we talk with Bill Hodge, the founder and the Executive Director of Southern Appalachian Wilderness Stewards. Bill is a true Wilderness Warrior who started SAWS in 2010 as a program for the Wilderness Society and five years later it became a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Today, almost 10 years, later SAWS provides stewardship support for more than sixty protected areas on nine national forests in the Southern Appalachian region, and helps to build the next generation of conservation stewards. Tune in and let’s talk wilderness.
